Passed peacefully at St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa. Survived by his loving wife Beth, cousin Linda (George) and members of the Dorward, Dreyer, Knight and Seabert families.
Matthew was a faithful and devoted priest who served in rural parishes in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Our deepest gratitude to Matthew’s care teams on Waterford House; he treasured each one of you. Special thanks to Dr. Susan Sollars and Dr. Anne Hamilton for their exemplary care.
Requiem Mass to be held at St. Barnabas Apostle and Martyr Anglican Church, 70 James Street (at Kent Street) Ottawa, Ontario, at 11:00AM, on Saturday, December 18th, 2021. Following Covid protocols, restrictions will apply with limited capacity. For those wishing to attend, please register in advance by contacting the church office at: parishoffice@primus.ca or by calling (613) 232-6992. The Funeral Service can also be viewed virtually and can be accessed using the link provided below this notice.
Donations to St. Barnabas A+M Anglican Church would be a loving tribute to Matthew and gratefully received.
