Obituary of Terry Wayne Diakiw
Diakiw – Terry Wayne passed away at home on July 8, 2021 in his 71st year.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Susan Sanko. His beloved children: Jeannine and Allan Campbell, Jason and Cindy Diakiw, Brogen Diakiw and Hannah Lackey. His boys: Blue and Moe.
Terry’s grandchildren: Tyler, Kyla and Connor Campbell, Caleb & River Diakiw and Knox Lackey. Brother-in-law of Terry and Rick Sanko. Also survived by many loving cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and family. He will be missed by his Union brothers whom he shared 53 years with. Terry was predeceased by his beloved mother and father-in-law Ben & Mary Lou Sanko, his mother Jean and his brother Greg Shannahan. It is with a saddened heart that Susan has cremated him. Special thank you to the first responders who were such a comfort to the family during this difficult time. Due to Covid-19, a service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Terry may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
