Terry’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Terry Clyde Osmond announce his peaceful passing on Friday, August 13th, 2021 at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL at the age of 61 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Terry was the son of the late Clifford and Rebecca Osmond (nee Short). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law; George and Shirley Osmond, infant brother and brother; Norman (Donalda) Osmond, sister; Harriett Lillington, sister-in-law; Mardee Osmond, brothers-in-law; Leslie Currie, and Albert White.
Terry leaves to mourn with many special memories his long time loving companion of 39 years; Barbara Osmond. He also leaves behind his daughter; Terrilynn (Dion) Chislett of Fort St. John, BC, sisters; Carrie Currie, Rosie White, Nina (Bud) Davis, brothers; Garnet (Nora) Osmond, William (Marilyn) Osmond, David Osmond, Eric (Selena) Osmond all of Port aux Basques, NL, sisters-in-law; Dallas (Charlie) Matthews, Sherry (Albert) Farrell, Margie (Keith) Billard all of Port aux Basques, NL, Tracey (Darrell) Horwood of Eastern Passage, NS, brothers-in-law; Stuart (Nancy) Osmond, Brian Osmond, Dave Osmond, and Morgan Lillington all of Port aux Basques, NL, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Terry was a very devoted hard working man who loved his family and had the patience of God. No job was too big or too difficult for him. Terry loved his life and will be forever missed and always remain in our hearts.
Visitation taking place on Sunday, August 15th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16th, at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Channel-Port aux Basques officiated by Rev. Jane Allen. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Terry’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
