It is with great sadness that the family of Ted Lange announces his sudden passing on Monday December 13, 2021 at the age of 64.
Ted was a family man and good friend to many. He had recently embarked on his retirement and looked forward to spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. Always ready with a beer or rum in hand, Ted was the ultimate host. He enjoyed entertaining, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. An employee of Cullitons for over 40 years, he was a well-respected colleague and mentor, known for his incredible organizational and problem-solving skills. Obtaining his Electrical, HVAC, and Gas Fitting license Ted was a Master of all trades who was always ready to lend a helping hand; no job was too small, even if it was a “five minute job”, it was “no big deal” to Ted.
He leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Naomi and his children, Joshua (Amanda), Jessica (Ben Duinker), and Jenna (Roger Koert). He is remembered lovingly by his mother Ellen, his siblings Rae (Cindy) and Debbie Thompson (Rick). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Caleb, Simon, Aubrey, and Mattias and his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Ted was predeceased by his father Frank, father-in-law Raymond Ross, aunt Eleanor, and niece Courtney Ross Cunningham.
Visitations will be held at W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Friday December 17, 2021 from 1-4 pm, and 6-9 pm. Upon entering the funeral home, face coverings and vaccine screening will be conducted.
A private family funeral will be held Saturday December 18, 2021 followed by an internment at Avondale Cemetery.
