Passed away peacefully on March 9, 2021 at Symphony Carleton Place Terrace, at the age of 92. Sybil Oswald, dear wife of the late Eddie Oswald and dear mother of Gary (Hélène) and Gillian (Jeff). Sybil was the dear sister of late Elizabeth (Feaver) of England. She was the adored grand-mother of John Mathew (Audrey), Daniel (Kailey), Casey (Dayle) and Nicholas (Vickie) and the great grandma of Max, Chloe, Claire and Marnie. She will be loved and remembered by many relatives, nephews, nieces and godchildren in England, the U.S. and Canada.
The family would like to thank her good neighbours and friends who cared for and supported her and a special thanks to all involved in her care during her illness. We are very appreciative of the dedicated personnel from the staff at Carleton Place Terrace, the Smile program, Bayshore and all the medical personnel involved in her care.
A service in honour of Sybil’s life will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, ON K0E 1P0 on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11 am.
Covid protocols will be in effect with a limited number of 50 guests in attendance. To register for the service please RSVP online or call 613-342-2828, weekdays between 9 am – 4:30 pm.
Contributions to Canadian Cancer Society or the St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated.
