Susan Mary Wakaruk McParland Wednesday February 10th 2021

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Susan Mary Wakaruk (nee McParland) at Health Sciences North on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021. She is predeceased by her parents Ken and Theresa McParland. Dear sister of Sharon (predeceased), Danny (predeceased), Linda (predeceased), Bev, Kim and Shirley. She will be deeply missed by her best friend Shelly Keller and many other friends. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews as well. Susan was born on May 24th, 1951 in Pembroke, Ontario. Susan worked hard in many vocations in life. She was a daycare owner, worked as a painter, as well as many other different types of work. Susan was the proud owner of Stop 55 restaurant in Lively, ON where she showcased her best talent, which was cooking and baking. Sue was also passionate about animals. She especially loved her beloved cat, Sassy. She also loved music, bowling, singing, dancing, reading and playing board games with family and friends. She will forever be the Scrabble champion in our family. She lived her life to the fullest. We will miss her great humour, her candour, her honest demeanour and her great wit! We are broken-hearted that we have to say good-bye for now, but we know her faith carried her through these difficult days and she is now in eternity with the Lord and our beloved family. We love you Sue, rest easy, until we meet again. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pet Save would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
