Obituary of Sue Ann Field
FIELD, Sue Ann Patricia (Ryall)
It is with shock that I announce the passing of my mother, Sue Ann on October 8, 2021 at the age of 74. Married to my dad, David Alexander Field for 53 years. Loving mother of my brother Jason (Melissa) Field and myself, Jilliann (Jason Lazarus) Field-Lazarus. Caring grandma of Quinn, Violet and Rylann and Jexi. Dear sister of Patrick (Elaine) Ryall, Patti (Ken) Morneau and twin sister Jo Ann (Reynold) Caskey. Dear sister-in-law of Marjorie (late Ernie 2013) Gorick, late Charles 2003 (Carol) Field, Gordon (Maureen) Field, Douglas (Judie) Field, and Katherine (late Denny 2008) Benjamin. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews and her Cottage friends. My mom was a lot of things. She was the most determined person I know. When she set her mind to something she was unstoppable. At the same time, she taught me to be open minded. Uniquely, organized, if you wanted something, she would have it squirreled away somewhere and know exactly where to find it. She was a dynamo, rarely sitting. We had to demand she stay in one place to open presents EVERY holiday. You were lucky to open one of her creatively and precariously wrapped gifts (in the right order of course!) or be given something she had made just for you. She would preoccupy her time with making things just so. Maybe that is why she was so busy all the time. I’ll remember her matching her earrings to her shirt and socks just like my grandma, making a cup of tea and ready to look at some kitty pictures. For all of those pieces of her, I am thankful. I love you forever, Ma. XOXO Jilliann. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of Sue’s life will be held at a later date.
