Steven’s Obituary
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Steven Alvin Riley on July 28, 2021, at the age of 55. Steven was born and raised in Moose Jaw, SK. He graduated A.E. Peacock High School and while attending excelled with the football team. Steven was a member of good standing in the Ironworkers Union, Local 771, for many years. He enjoyed hunting, quadding, dirt biking, long rides on his Harley Davidson, being at the lake and he loved his many dogs. Predeceased by his father James “Jim”, his brother Randy and sister Mary “Mae”. Steven will be sadly missed by his daughters Kristina and Samantha and their mother Jackie; his three very special nieces who were like daughters to him Crystal Jarvos, Amanda Jarvos and Nicole Riley; mother Mary of Moose Jaw; siblings Edith (Dave) Newstead, Brenda Dokken, William (Crystal), James “Jamie” (Shelly), Darrel, Lucille (Mark) Gilliland, Ronald, as well as numerous other family and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at Jones-Parkview Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM. A final tribute motorcycle ride will take place after the service for anyone that would like to participate. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment to take place at a later date. In living memory of Steven, a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
