Steven MacGillivary
1963-2021
Steven Glen MacGillivary, age 57, of Elm Street, Trenton,
passed away Sunday, May 9. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son the
late Donald and Mary (Darroch) MacGillivray.
He was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. He
worked most of his life at Trenton Works until its closing, and he was
retired after that.
He was a golfer and enjoyed playing baseball and poker in his
younger years. He loved the Montreal Canadiens and watching their
games.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (MacDonald)
MacGillivary; sons: Steven (Evelyn); and William; daughter, Angelia
MacDonald (Perry); 4 grandchildren: Tony Gillis, Jasmine Pellerine,
Leyara and Jasper Dillman; brothers: Scott; John (Loriann); and Joey
(Kyla); and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents-in-law, Lawrence and
Eleanor (Jenkins) MacDonald; and many aunts and uncles.
He was loved and will be missed by his large
family.
There will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of life
will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of
R.H. Porter Funeral Home.
