Steven DAVID 2021

Steven DAVID
Thursday November 11, 2021
DAVID, Steven Walter 1976 – 2021 – suddenly at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, November 11th, 2021 in his 45th year. Cherished son of Linda David (late Stephen – 2011). Loving brother & uncle to Melissa Valent of Simcoe, her children Raegan & Nash; and Andrew David (Jess) of Elora. Predeceased by his grandparents, the late Betty & Steve David and Walter & Stella Husul. Steven will be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins & extended family. Steven, or as his friends called him “Stevie”, had many friends. People always knew he was around by his distinctive, infectious laugh. Stevie was a people person. He loved to talk, laugh and share his many theories with his family, friends and neighbours. Stevie looked forward to fall for this reason. He loved selling his pumpkins and gourds from his garden, but most importantly, he enjoyed visiting with his customers while doing so. Stevie had many passions and was well known for his talented body and paint repair on all types of vehicles. His pride and joy was his 1970 Chevelle that he refinished with his dad, and his army Jeep. You could often find Stevie walking around the neighbourhood, chatting with neighbours, puttering in his garden or walking the fields with his dog Lucky. Lucky was never too far from Steve’s side. He will be dearly missed by his four-legged friend. A public celebration life will take place in 2022 at the family farm. Those wishing to donate in memory of Steven are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Simcoe & District Humane Society. Donations may be mailed to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe ON N3Y 3R3. Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
