Obituary
It is with profound sadness the family of Sterling Francis Parks, loving husband of Joan (Curtis) Parks, wish to announce his passing which occurred on December 19, 2021 at the Saint John regional Hospital. Born in Miramichi on August 9, 1945 he was the son of the late Norman and Olive (Parker) Parks.
He was employed in the mining and construction industry throughout New Brunswick before his retirement.
Besides his beloved wife Joan, he is survived by his sons; Trent (Tracy), Kyle and Sterling JR, his brothers; David (Warrine), Clinton (Hannah), Wayne (Juanita), Kerry (Emily) and his sisters; Gertrude Wilson (Robert), Norma Tucker, and Nancy Hamilton, his grandchildren; Alexander, Aislynn, Konnor and Caleb, great-grandson Deaglan along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Troy and his brother Gordon.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). In keeping with Sterling’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations in Sterling’s memory may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital.
