Obituary of Stephen P. Santucci
Stephen P. “Steve’ Santucci age 70 of Horseheads, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday September 30, 2021 at Corning Hospital. Steve was born July 3, 1951 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Joseph and Mildred Kelly Santucci. He married his wife , Susan M. Shumway Santucci, on October 9, 1971 and they would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on October 9, 2021. Steve was a retired employee of J. C. Penney in Horseheads, NY. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Steve loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife Susan; sons: Jeffery Santucci and Brent Santucci both of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren: Lyndsay Santucci and Brendan Santucci; sister: Sandra Bjorvand of Elmira, NY ; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joseph and Alice Santucci and Thomas Santucci all of Elmira, NY ; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Sandra Shumway of Horseheads, NY , Shirley Weigand and Jim Barbieri of Horseheads, NY , James and Jean Shumway of Horseheads, NY ; uncle: Carl Schnautz of Horseheads, NY; aunt: Dottie Kelly of Horseheads, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Tuesday October 5, 2021 from 4-7 PM. Steve’s Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at 10 AM. Steve will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
