Stephen John Agabob 2021

Obituary of Stephen John Agabob
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen John Agabob of Maple Ridge, BC on September 21, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue, his 3 children: Jaceylyn, Jolene (Steve), and Jordan and his adoring grandsons Asher and Kyler. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Brian (Leslie), his brother-in-law Doug, his nieces and nephews and his many dear friends.
Steve was born in 1951 in Vancouver, BC. He married Sue in 1972, moved to the Cariboo, raised his family and built a successful life. He taught in remote schools in the Cariboo and the Yukon and later became a devoted elementary school principal in both Quesnel and Vancouver.
Steve was a man of many talents. He was a lifelong learner with a passion for family, outdoor living, travel, motorcycles and golf. He was compassionate, kind and a friend to all. Steve was a gentle soul who loved his family and friends deeply. He will be remembered fondly and missed fiercely by those who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at Steve & Sue’s farm in Maple Ridge, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the BC Cancer Foundation.
