MacDonald, Stephen Daniel
“Miller”, age 82, of HighCrest Enterprises,
Antigonish formerly of Doctor’s Brook’s passed
away at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital on February 23,
2021.
Born in Antigonish, he was the son of the late Stephen and
Marcella MacDonald.
Steve was a well-known taxi driver in Antigonish for many
years. He was the youngest in a family of ten. For those who
knew Steve well, he loved a good game of cards with the MacInnis
Brothers and their families and was known on many occasions to leave
abruptly if the cards were not dealth in his favor!
He is survived by his brother, Ron “Miller”,
Antigonish and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers and sisters: Joseph,
Catherine, Mary, Sandy, Leo, Jackie, Hughie and Bill.
Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College
Street, Antigonish on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral Mass
will be held in St. Ninian Cathedral on Friday at 1:00pm with Reverend
Donald MacGillivray presiding. Covid 19 guidelines will
apply. Burial in St. Margaret of Scotland Cemetery at a
