Stefania Pronkiewicz (Stella) February 16, 1921 – September 18, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Stella on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
She grew up in eastern Poland-Zarudzi. After W.W. II she moved to western Poland-Wysoka, where in 1947, she married Josef. In 1949 they had one child; a son named Adam. In 1958 they immigrated to Saskatoon, SK.
She started work at St.Paul’s Hospital right away and worked there until her retirement. Her and Josef were members and founders of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish and the Polish Catholic Organization, they were very active within the Church’s community.
Left to mourn are her son Adam, granddaughters Julie (Simone), Christie and many other family members.
A special thanks to Dr.Nayar and also a special thanks to all the staff at St.Joseph’s Care Home, especially the “Ukranian Sisters”.
