Obituary of Stanley Robert Burgstaler
December 5, 1964 – March 6, 2021
Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home in his sleep.
Loved father of Sarah Burgstaler and her husband Adam Metcalfe, Cassy Burgstaler and her husband Josh Visser and Shannon Burgstaler. Cherished grandfather of Kristen, Reagan, Ella and Noah. Will also be sadly missed by his mother Jean Burgstaler, brothers of Hans , John and Dave Burgstaler and many nieces and nephews. Stan had a love of Harley Davidson motorcyles. He loved camping and fishing, going to concerts, especially classic rock and most most importantly spending holidays with his family. Contracting was his job but it was something he took pride in. Being able to take an empty unfinished space and make it look beautiful, like a piece of art. He loved to entertain and surrounded himself with family and friends. He was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and this was very evident through his membership with The 999th Legion for Child Rights and The North Wall Riders Association. A private family funeral service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, today, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home facebook page. Online condolences and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
