Wagner, Stanley “Stan”
Peacefully at Strathroy Middle General Hospital in his 83rd year Stanley “Stan” Wagner passed away on March 20, 2021. Loving husband to Joan Wagner nee Barfett. Predeceased by his parents John and Gladys Wagner, brothers Lawrence (Agnes), George, Lesley, Donald and brother in- law Keith Barfett. Will be missed by sisters-in-law Ginny Barfett, Beverly and Debra Wagner. Beloved uncle to Ella (Kevin), Grace, Lillian, Larry, Helen (Mike), Jeff, Theresa (Dave), Jim (Margarida), Connie (John), Gary, Brad, Allan (Mary) and Debra (Jason). Cherished great uncle and great-great uncle to several nieces and nephews. Stan will be lovingly remembered by many friends and neighbours.
Stan was a dedicated member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, serving on the session and the board of managers. A special thank you to Chartwell, Parkhill for all their compassionate care during his short stay.
A private funeral service will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY with Rev. Robert Wilson officiating. Interment to follow at Fingal Cemetery.
