Obituary of Stanley Goerge Fuller

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley George Fuller on November 12, 2021. He passed away at RUH with his wife Marilyn and his two daughters, Jennifer and Lori, by his side. He was 76 years old.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Rapp) Fuller; children Jeffry (Kathy) Stevens, Michelle (David) Pruden, Jennifer (Keith) Fillinger, and Lori (Stacey) Skibinsky; grandchildren Chris (Elaina), Adam (Anna), Josh (Stephanie), Ellen (Marshall), Nathan, Julia, Javan, and Liam; five great-grandchildren; sister Vicki (Bruno) Geschwandtner and brother Ken Fuller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents George and Doreen Fuller.
Stan was born on September 28, 1945 in Regina, SK. He grew up in Indian Head, Grenfell, and Balgonie before moving to Regina. He started his hockey career with the Regina Pats at the age of 17. He finished his junior career with the Estevan Bruins. He then moved to the United States to start his professional career in the American Hockey League. After his hockey career, he moved on to the automotive industry, insurance, and retired as a financial advisor. Stan spent the last 22 years following his heart to serve his Lord and the First Nations People through Lamb of God Ministries. Stan had a great love of birds, horses, and anything to do with being out in nature. In lieu of flowers please make donations to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada. The funeral liturgy will take place on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home with Fr. Stefano Penna as celebrant. The service will also be video livestreamed on Stan’s tribute page at www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com where messages of condolence can be left as well.
