Obituary
Stanley Stuart Likes
June 2, 1929 – January 21, 2021
Stan Likes was a long time resident of Fairview, Alberta.
He married his wife, Marlene (Dreyer), also from Fairview, in 1954.
Their two children; Denise, was born in 1956 and Dale in 1958.
In addition to his butchering career, Stan farmed, along with his family, west of Fairview for 23 years.
Stan and Marlene sold their farm in 1978 and moved to Vernon, BC, where they bought an acreage. They continued doing what they loved, farming on a much smaller scale, gardening and maintaining a small orchard.
They sold their Vernon acreage in 1987 and moved back to Alberta, settling in Bentley, where his wife of 66 years still resides today.
In addition to farming, Stan and Marlene enjoyed dancing and having fun with friends and family.
Stan will be sadly missed by his wife, Marlene, son Dale and wife Kerry, granddaughter Leah and daughter Denise.
