McDonnell, Stanley John
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on October 25, 2021 at the age of 87.
Loving husband of Vivian for 63 years. Cherished and loved by Suzanne & Al and their children David (Lindsay), Jacqueline and Michael as well as great grandsons Calvin & Adrian. Judy & Gerry and their children Gillian (Mark), Alec (Helina), Sarah (Kevin), Sean and great grandchildren Madison, Finnley and Westley. Janice and her daughter Brianna. Stephen & Neita and their daughter Amy. Chris & Tracy and their children Cameron (Soleil), Kyle and great grandson Bennett.
Lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Princes Margaret Hospital Foundation or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Family and friends will be received at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home (5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby) on Wednesday October 27th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
All guests who wish to attend the visitation must register online through the Barnes website. Should anyone require assistance with the registration form, please call our office during business hours 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (905-655-3662)
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church (91 Ribblesdale Dr. Whitby) on Thursday October 28th at 10:30 a.m.
Stanley will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
