ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Sonty Milliea 54, of Elsipogtog
passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Arnold Milliea Sr. and
Barbara (Peters) Milliea. Sonty was a goalie and loved to
play hockey and baseball.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Barbara
Milliea; three sons, Vinny Joseph, Riley Augustine, Brennan Levi; one
daughter, Jennifer Levi; one grandson, Kendall all of
Elsipogtog.
He is also survived by two sisters, Jennifer Sanipass
(George), Rita Milliea (Byron) both of Elsipogtog; four brothers,
Allen Milliea (Tina) of Kent Lake, Adam Milliea, James Robert Milliea
(Kimberly), Wade Milliea (Alicia) all of Elsipogtog; two Goddaughters,
Teela Marie Jade Milliea, Rosanna Levi and many nieces, great nieces,
nephews, great nephews and cousins.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by one daughter, Leita
Juanita Milliea and one sister, Juanita Ann
Milliea.
Visitation will be held at his mother’s home at 168
Autumn Drive, Elsipogtog beginning on Saturday at 2:00 pm until time
of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday,
January 18, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic
Church in Elsipogtog.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto (523-4252).
