SMITH Anne nee Nicholls 1936-

Anne Smith née Nicholls died peacefully October 12, 2021 at CHSLD Rigaud. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Bob, parents Phyllis and Assheton Nicholls of Pointe-Claire and her brother Bill Nicholls.
She is survived by her sister Pam Nicholls Warme (Ron); her brother Charles Nicholls, daughter Susan Smith Millman (Ken); son Geoff Smith (Janet); grandchildren Nicholas Gaudette; Caroline Gaudette Owen (Kyle); Samantha Smith; and Heather Smith. Great grandchild Harper Owen; sister in law Linda Nicholls; nieces Cheryl Fillion (Andre); Lynda Bell (Ian), nephews Neil Nicholls (Carol); Jamie Nicholls (Amanda); Stephen Warme (Kate), Nancy Smith; and David Smith (Katherine).
Anne loved her garden, fashion, and house renovation and decor. She modelled with Constance Brown Agency in the 1960’s. She and Bob loved to entertain in their home and did so frequently. Anne and Bob loved to purchase older homes and renovate. True do it yourselfers. They made a good team. They moved to Hudson in 2000, participated in the St James Home and Garden Tour each year and were members at Whitlock.
Anne married Peter Mundie of Hudson in 2010. Unfortunately Anne was fully diagnosed with severe dementia in early 2015.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Fondation du Foyer de Rigaud, 5 rue d’Amour, Rigaud, J0P 1P0.
