Obituary for
Simone Thérèse Jasmin (Bénard)
The family announces with great sorrow the peaceful passing of Simone Jasmin at Extendicare Timmins with her daughter by her side on February 2 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband George Jasmin Sr. (2010). Left to mourn are her children George Jr. (Patricia) of Timmins, Patrick (Diane) of St. Catharines, Michel (Carmen) of North Bay, Denise Pasveer (Guy Sherk) of St. Catharines, Monique (Jim Van Alphen) of Sudbury, Julie (Gary Erickson) of Nighthawk and son-in-law Phil Lachapelle (Lise). Loving grandmother to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne (1976), her grandson Luc Fortier (2008), and all of her siblings . Simone also leaves to mourn many family and close friends.
The family wishes to thank Extendicare Timmins for their kindness and care, during her stay. In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, there will be no visitation or service.Remembrance donations to the Alzheihmers Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
