1952-2021
On Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Victoria Science Centre, London
Ontario, Shirley Jean Blais (Adams) of London and formerly of Perth
Andover went home to be with her Lord and Savior. Born January 2, 1952
in Oxbow, NB, Shirley was the daughter of the late Ronald and Edna
(Ruff) McGuire. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Walter
Laking; second husband, Travis Adams; 1 son Travis Adams (Duska); 1
sister, Marguerite; 2 brothers, Murray and Donald.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Roger Blais; 4 children, Walter
Laking (Holly), Angel Stewart (Brent), Shirley Watson (D.J.) and
Donnie Adams (Hilary); 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 7
siblings, Bonnie Reimer, Doug McGuire (Bertha), Norman McGuire (Judy),
Phyllis McGuire-Ruff, David McGuire (Judy), Thelma McGuire (Bob) and
Kim Walton (Alden) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended
family.
A private family visitation and funeral service will be held. The
interment will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery,
Perth-Andover. Memorial donations made to the Fredericton Homeless
Shelter would be appreciated. For those who wish the livestream video
will be available on the L.R. Giberson FaceBook Page on Saturday,
