Shirley Iris Flint passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021 at the age of 84, at Arbutus Care Centre, Vancouver, B.C. She is predeceased by her husband John Flint in 2011, and her husband Edward Dunik in 1981. She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her son, Brian Dunik (Catherine), her daughter Karen Kelley, and grandchildren, Cameron (Claere) and Samantha. Shirley loved being with her family, treasured spending time with her brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. A keen pianist, Shirley enjoyed playing her piano and listening to music. Her door was always open to friends and neighbours, and she was sure to have a pot of coffee and some fresh baked muffins to greet them.
The family would like to express their grateful appreciation for all the wonderful care providers at Arbutus Care Center.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you plant a rose in Shirley’s memory, to make the world a brighter and more beautiful place, just as Shirley did.
