It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shelley McVety on December 7th, 2021, surrounded by her family. Loving mother of Shannon Torrance, Michelle McVety (Shawn Holland), Ryan Mcvety, and Robert McVety. Cherished grandmother of Tyler Leverton, Nicole Burns (Keegan), Jessica Leverton, Brandon Thompson (Kayla), Malcolm Burns, Nicholas Leverton, Dillon Cryderman, Gabriel Gatfield, Shyla McVety, Kentleigh McVety, and Robert and great-grandmother of Kaydence, Charlie, Audrey, Izzy, Evie, Lily and Mekeena.. Survived by her sister Kerrison (Mike) Moran. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Kent and Helen Gardiner, and her brother Brad Gardiner. She will be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her church family at St-Thomas Anglican Church in Cambridge. Cremation has already occured and a private family service will be held at a later. In lieu of flowers, the family has ask for donations to be made to in Shelley’s honour.
