Sheila’s Obituary
Thibeault, Sheila Ann – Age 66 of Wilmot, Annapolis Co., passed away suddenly at her home Friday, August 13, 2021. Born September 10, 1954, in Yarmouth to the late Gordon and Marguerite (Bent) Ryerson. Sheila will be remembered fondly for her love of animals especially dogs. She loved a good yard sale and antique shopping. Sheila was a devoted hockey mom. She was her boys biggest fan. Sheila worked as Postmaster for Canada Post and worked for the Department of Lands and Forests. She was the first manager of the Needs in Wilmot. She also worked for the Annapolis Valley Exhibition and enjoyed working many elections. Sheila is survived by her sons, Scott (Amanda Roosje), Wilmot; Shaun-Paul (Tanya Veinot), Forest Glade; sister, Joan (Merle) Toole, South Farmington; brothers, Gerry (Valerie) Ryerson, Halifax; Elmer Ryerson, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Kate, Kayleigh and Keira; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sheila was predeceased by brothers Gordon, Max, and Arthur. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Tremont Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St. toll free 1-855-825-3448. Donations in memory may be made to your local SPCA or the Twelve Baskets Food Bank, Nictaux.
