Shayne Alexander Blahut Wednesday December 1st 2021

Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 59.
Much loved father to William (Katie O’Toole) and Walter (Raegan Koraca). Loving brother to Shannon (Frank), Bonnie (Bill) and Shelley (Scott). Shayne will be fondly remembered by his nephews and nieces Adam, John, Matthew, Sarah, Emily, and Joshua. He was predeceased by his father Alexander Blahut (1998) and mother Helen Blahut (2020). He will be dearly remembered by Teresa.
Shayne was born in Hamilton and came to Kitchener in 1986. Shayne was a very creative soul and was a voracious reader. He loved music, wood-working, drawing, astronomy, spending time outdoors, and being creative in the kitchen, but his greatest source of joy was being a devoted and loving father to his boys.
Shayne retired in 2017 from the Kitchener Wilmot Hydro where he worked for over 30 years.
A visitation will be held from 2:30 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Tributes to be shared at 4 p.m. Those wishing to attend Shayne’s visitation and tributes must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
