Obituary of Shane Glabb
Passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Playa del Carmen, Mexico on December 12, 2021 at the age of 46.
He will be forever missed by his mother Joan, sisters Heather, Shelley, Shaunna Vincent (Denis) and Tanya (Angela), brothers Steven Pitt (Ellen), Clayton Pitt (Jenna) and Marty (Betty) and by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his father Peter, brothers Randy and Vincent and nephew Colby Pitt.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude and thanks to Marc and Sharon Kay Grenier for their close friendship and assistance to the family.
Shane was an accomplished musician and taught at the Royal Conservatory of Music in St. Catharines, Ontario. He studied in Italy and was awarded a Certificate of Achievement in the Italian language. Shane will be remembered for sharing his love of music through performance and coaching.
The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Saturday December 18, 2021 from 10 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. There will be a private family funeral service held in the Armstrong Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. Due to COVID restrictions attendance will be monitored, gathering limits will be enforced and face masks are required. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
