Scott Arnold Tucker 19592021

Scott Arnold Tucker
1959-2021
Scott A. Tucker passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John
Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Born in
Blacks Harbour NB on July 18th, 1959, Scott was the son of the late
Arnold and Marion (Cameron) Tucker. Scott is survived by his sister,
Sharon, of St. George as well as his aunts: Marguerite Arbeau, Betty
Dougherty and Lynda (Jim) McIntyre; uncle: Malcolm (Brenda) Tucker;
cousins: Peggy, Cindy, Susan, Steve, Jeff, Dale, David and
Charlotte.
Following graduation from ECRS in 1977, Scott went to work at
Point Lepreau in construction, later moving to Purchasing for NB
Power. Scott retired from NB Power in 2014.
Scott loved his home in Maces Bay and spent many an evening
by the fire pit enjoying the peace of his surroundings. It would need
to be the evenings as any spare hours through the day were often spent
washing and cleaning his vehicles.
Scott’s open and outgoing personality resulted in him having
many friends. Scott had a kind caring heart and would not hesitate to
assist anyone when he saw a need. Because of this we are asking if
anyone feels to make a donation of remembrance to consider your local
Food Bank or Outflow Ministries.
As a result of Covid-19, there will be no visitation. The
service will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, St. George NB,
conducted by the Rev. Mary Anne Langmaid on Thursday, March 25th, 2021
at 3:00 pm. Social distancing rules and contact tracing will be in
place. Interment will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the
family plot.
