Obituary
Laverty, Sarah “Timotee” (1986-2021) – It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her sudden passing on Saturday July 31st 2021 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 35.
She was the proud mother to James Filip Joseph Wlodarczyk, Lilly-Ann Olivia Chattaway and Annabella Chattaway (predeceased). Sarah was the beloved daughter to Geraldine Miller and Edward Laverty. She was the sister to Josiah (Joseph) and Matthew Laverty. . She will be sadly missed by her special aunties Donna and Debbie and by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and she will also be missed by her biological Inuit family. Sarah will be sadly missed by her longtime partner Matthew Chattaway and Marcia Powell.
Sarah was a free spirit who enjoyed adventures. She could often be found taking walks in nature. She felt a sense of peace and comfort being near lakes and campfires. Sarah was a devoted mother to her children and had great pride in teaching them about life. Her adventurous spirit will live on forever.
Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services on Wednesday August 11th 2021 for visitation between 1 until 3pm. A celebration of life will follow at 3pm. As per current COVID 19 directives the total number of attendees is limited, social distancing requirements must be respected, and masks or face coverings are required inside the funeral home.
Donations in Sarah’s memory can be made towards the Canadian Mental Health and Addictions or to the Heart and stroke foundation.
