Sandy Sullivan
1965-2021
Sullivan, Sandra
Lynne
Sandy passed away suddenly, at Southlake Regional Health
Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the age of 55 years.
Proud mother of her two sons Jamie and Cameron of Guelph.
Cherished Gramma of Edith, Gwendolyn and Beatrice of Jamie
and Hannah who will all miss and loved her dearly. Much loved daughter
of Suzanne White, dear sister of Kimberley Sullivan. Sandy
was born in Toronto, spent most of her years living in Guelph raising
her family and later moved to Holland Landing with her partner David
Gordon-James, where she lived happily alongside David and his family.
She spent her free time being actively involved within the
community in many ways, always looking for a way to make a place
better than she found it. Sandy was also a member of Scouts Canada
with whom she volunteered in a multitude of positions for 28 years.
Later in life, she attended Georgian College and trained to
work as a PSW, a profession she was both passionate about and truly
suited for, given her kind heart and willingness to put others ahead
of herself. Over her life, she was grateful to have found
many great friends from all over, along with an extended family too
long to list, all of whom will miss and remember her with the fondest
of memories. Sandy’s life will be Celebrated in private with
family and friends at a date to be determined. Memorial
contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society (1-800-268-8874) would be
appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to
GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre
& Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph,
(519-824-0031). We invite you to
leave your memories and donations online at: www.gilchristchapel.com
and they will be forwarded to the family.
