Sandra Pollard 1934 2021

Obituary of Sandra Pollard
Alexandra Victoria Pollard (AKA – Mom, Nana, Great Nana, Nana Banana) of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan left us on October 13, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
Sandra is predeceased by: her devout husband, Gerald (AKA – Gumpy); parents, Michael and Mary; brother, Albert; sisters, Albena, Alberta and Alyne
Sandra leaves behind: her loving children, Margo Fenk (Tony), Curtis (Heather), Marlene Lindskog (Randy), Kim (Sandi) and Marina Smith (Jim); 13 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
No arrangement or amount of words could do justice on the profound mark Sandra Pollard made on the lives she touched. She always put others before herself and was always so proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She never judged a single soul, but simply overflowed with passion, compassion and love. This was demonstrated best by her enjoyment of good company; making family favourite recipes (including rum cake, borscht, chicken noodle soup and very garlicky caesar salad) and savouring precious moments, laughing and playing cards with family and sharing lunches and long phone calls with close friends.
The entire family, while sad, will attempt to mimic her unconditional love by sharing happy memories and enjoying the present, as she always did. Sandra graced the lives of all her family and friends with a perfect smile and kind light. When asked how she was doing – Mom/Nana would answer “fair to middling”, but in everyone’s eyes, she was nothing short of an Angel on Earth.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date. No formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, if one wishes, donations in honour of Sandra’s love for all animals, may be made to the Lloydminster & District SPCA.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Sandra
