Sainte-Anne-de-Kent – André T. Maillet, 89, of Foyer Pauline, Bouctouche and formerly of Sainte-Anne, passed away on Monday, October 4th, 2021, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne.
Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Thaddée and the late Albina (Savoie) Maillet.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Maillet had worked at the Stella-Maris Hospital for 12 years. André had many hobbies: working wood by fabricating sculptures, traveling and camping. A devoted man, always there to give a helping hand and participate in many volunteer comities and activities. He was a happy person with a big smile, a great husband, father, grandfather and brother, that will be missed by all.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, the love of his life, Huberte (Melanson); his daughter, Jackie (Danny); his grandchildren: Taylor (Ghislain) and Ryan (Danica); his siblings: Marie (Alcide), Aldéo (Anna), Sr. Yvette, n.d.s.c., Sr. Prémélia, Dora (Gérard), Jeanne (Réginald) and Rosella (Francis), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, infant Bernard.
Due to the Covid-19 regulations, proof of vaccination and masks will be mandatory.
Visitation will be held from Sainte-Anne-de-Kent RC Church Slumber Room, on Friday, October 8th, 2021, from 2 pm until time of funeral.
Funeral mass will be held from Sainte-Anne-de-Kent RC Church, on Friday, October 8th, 2021 at 4 pm.
Interment in the parish cemetery.
