Obituary of Sai-Wing Lai
LAI, Sai-Wing
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Sai-Wing Lai on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the age of 89 at Scarborough Hospital Grace Campus.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Sui-Ling Yeung, and devoted daughter, Angela Lai; son-in-law, Paul Ma, and grandson, Fr. Raphael Ambrose Ma CR.
A private Chapel Service, for immediate family members only, will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, to be followed by cremation at St. John’s Crematorium.
His ashes will be entombed in the Sacred Heart section of the Holy Family Mausoleum at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Thornhill, Ontario, where his beloved daughter, the late Alice Lai-Ma was also laid to rest.
Family and friends are welcome to make donations in lieu of flowers to Scarborough Health Network in his memory.
