Ruth Linda Kaizer
1947-2021
Ruth Linda Kaizer, 74, of Steam Mill, Kings
County, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 4, 2021 in the
Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Pictou, she was
a daughter of the late Bernald and Beatrice (Blenkhorn) Corkum. Ruth
was loved by many, all the kids growing up in Steam Mill knew her and
all called her mom. She enjoyed spending her time at her trailer by
the ocean in Baxter’s Harbour. She was making those phone
calls every day, checking in on her family and friends. One of her
favourite things to do was take pictures and boy did she take
pictures! Not only for family but anyone who would ask her, she was
there with her camera. She never left the house without it. Whenever
someone got married or a family gathering, you could be sure Ruth
(mom) would have lots of pictures. She is survived by her husband
Hugh; daughter Cindy Davidson Graham (Mike), Ontario; son, Scott
(Andrea) Davidson, New Minas; chosen son, Nathan Hines, Halifax;
chosen daughter, Misty Bezanson (Dagley); grandchildren, Kyann, Sage,
Logyn, Tyson, Jayger; sister, Dianne Pasley, Halifax; and nephew and
many nieces. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will
be held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021
in the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No.6, Kentville.
The family would like to thank EHS paradmedics, ICU and
Medical A at the Valley Regional Hospital and the Halifax VG, they
were extremely supportive and accommodating. The doctors, nurses and
support staff as a whole were truly amazing. Donations in memory may
be made to the Valley Regional Hospital ICU Department. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
