NICHOLS, Ruth Elizabeth
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ruth Elizabeth Nichols, share the news of her passing, peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on April 6, 2021 in her 69th year.
Beloved daughter of the late Edward Malcolm Nichols and late Pamela Elizabeth Nichols (Rudd). Loving sister to Dianne (Richard), Donna (Dave), and Randy (Jackie). Cherished aunt to Pamela (James), John, Corrinne (Stephen), Jason, Ben, David, Elizabeth (Joe), Richard (Tina), Amanda, Jeremy, Justin and Ashleigh. Adored great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many more. She is survived by her aunts Sandra, Beverly and Doris. Dear friend to Sue. Predeceased by her partner Ron, and dear friends Lynn (Mother T.) and Jerry (Gigi).
Her greatest passion was her unconditional and steadfast love for her family, followed closely by that for her lifelong friends. Her second passion was all things yarn, as she would crochet until she could no longer do so. You could be certain that every new member of the family, was welcomed into this world with at least one set of Blanket, sweater, cap and booties…if not multiple sets. It was her way of wrapping them in her love.
Heartfelt thanks to her niece, Pamela, for her love and devotion over the past few years, serving as primary caregiver for Aunt Ruth.
