Obituary of ROYSTON MICHAEL SINCLAIR
Royston Michael Sinclair
June 7, 2021
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on June 7, 2021, at the age of 53 years old.
Roy is survived by his wife Corinne, children Timothy, Kaitlyn and Christopher, stepchildren Amanda (Jesse) and Kurt (Stephanie) and his grandchildren Scarlett, Emmett, Logan, Hailey and Jaxson.
He also leaves to mourn his parents Maureen and Rodney, brothers Richard (Debbie), Rod (Helen), Roland (Kelly), sister Danielle (Bill), his brother-in-law Lee (Karen), sister-in-law Rhonda (Todd) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Anyone who knew Roy knew how easy he was to love and how easy he loved others. If you needed a helping hand you could always count on Roy being a phone call away. He loved spending time with his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. Roy was always hands-on with his children and grandchildren, from pumpkin carving parties to planting flowers in his garden. He would also be the first to admit that he would spoil the grandchildren each time he would see them and would rarely say no to them. His love extended to his “fur babies” and he would also spoil them nightly by giving them far too many treats.
No one could deny Roy’s love of transportation. From his truck driving days to his participation in the annual Truck Convoy for Special Olympics. He also shared a love of road trips with his wife, Corinne. Together they would travel across Canada visiting family and enjoying each other’s company. He would even make special playlists that included both of their favourite songs.
Roy enjoyed keeping busy and had many hobbies to occupy his time like his garden that he would care for and water every morning. His love for the Winnipeg Jets was legendary and he rarely missed a game. Roy also loved fireworks and would spend the whole year planning his yearly firework show with his brother Richard. People would come near and far every year to see them. His final show was earlier in the year for the neighborhood he lived in, and he had the best time bringing a smile to people’s faces.
Due to the current health restrictions, there will be a private funeral service. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Roy’s name to the Winnipeg Humane Society or any pet rescue of your choosing.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of ROYSTON
MICHAEL
