Rowena “Rene” Esta Woodworth
1930-2021
Rowena “Rene” Woodworth, 91, of Lakeview manor
and formerly of Hillsborough passed. away peacefully on December 13th,
2021 at the nursing home with her family by her side.
Rene was born in Demoiselle Creek, Albert County, NB on May
22, 1930 the daughter of the late James and Effie (Lane)
Tower.
Rene worked at T. Eatons Company and retired from the
Co-op. The most important role to her was when she became a
wife and mother. She looked after the household
and made sure everyone was looked after to the best of her
ability. She raised her three boys and was very proud of who
they have become. Then her grandchildren came along and she
was truly a doting grandmother. She was an active member of
Order of the Eastern Star Winston Churchill Chapter # 19, attending
many meetings and events over the years. She took
up golfing and had a lot of fun at
the Hillsborough Golf Course.
Rene was a small lady but had a big personality.
She will be remembered for her sweet smile and kind heart.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Alan Woodworth
(Cheryl Conway), Bret Woodworth (Sandy Cole) and Jeff Woodworth
(Tammy) all of Hillsborough; treasured grandsons, Nick, Konnor,
Kenton, Tyler, Jared and Jackson and by her brother, Frank Tower of
Hillsborough. She will also be missed by several nieces,
nephews and all her extended family and friends.
Besides her husband Elvin “Dids” Woodworth she
was predeceased by sister, Vera; brothers, Ronnie, Claude, Royden and
Dick
Due to Covid there will be a private family graveside
service. Interment will be in the Green Hill
Cemetery, Edgett’s Landing, NB.
Donations to the Green Hill Cemetery or charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated.
The family would like to say a special thank
you to the staff of Lakeview Manor for all the excellent care and
support that was given to Rene. The kindness shown will never be
forgotten.
