He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ross grew up on a tobacco farm near Cultus, Ontario. From a very early age he was instilled with the value of hard work and family. He attended Ridgetown College and then began his career at International Harvester and continued on to own a Case IH Dealership in Glencoe, Ontario. Ross had a true love and passion for life. He loved to be surrounded by nature and took great joy in watching the wildlife that surrounded his home. Most days you could find Ross tending to his vineyard and yard, marveling at the fruit of his efforts. He loved to research and perfect his wine making skills and share a bottle of his wine with good friends and family. Ross fought hard against his illnesses with the same determination he put towards the complexities that life often throws us. He had a smile that would light up a room and nothing would make his family happier than to see his smile continue to light up his face. A special thank you to the staff at Oakcrossing Long Term Care Home for their special care. Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday December 8th at Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe.
