Obituary of Rose Mongeon
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Mongeon, aged 61, peacefully on the afternoon of August 29th, 2021, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Her partner of 13 years, Dan Cuneo was by her side at their home in St. Thomas. Rose was predeceased by her mother, Anna Kos, whom she was very close to. She will be greatly missed by her sister Biserka along with close friends, Gerda, Francei, Pramela and many others.
Rose was born in Croatia but came to Canada over 30 years and was a proud Canadian who enjoyed her retirement and loved to travel the world with Dan.
Dan would also like to thank his sisters, Sheila and Cheryl, and Angela from Care Partners for their help and support during this difficult journey.
A private service for Rose will be held in Burlington for close friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Rose’s name to the charity that is near and dear to your heart would be greatly appreciated.
