Rose’s Obituary
Rose Gertrude Hartt of Grafton, NB, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the age of 87.
She is survived by sister-in-law Marlene Hartt and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Rose was predeceased by husband Paul Hartt on January 2, 2021; mother and father Victor and Jenny (nee Price) Miller: brother Jason Miller (Anna nee Saunders) along with Ronald & Robert (twins) and Ralph – all three dying in infancy; sisters Greta Haynes (Herman) and Glenna Sewell (Harry).
Rose retired from Canada Post, having served in Mississauga and Woodstock for a total of thirty-five years. She and Paul were affiliated with the United Baptist Church.
Resting at the Scott Funeral home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB
Due to recent Covid restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral service at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept 25, 2021, at 11 am at the Jacksontown Baptist cemetery. ( Route 560 )
Rev. Leonard Cousins will be officiating.
If desired donations may be made to IWK Sick Children’s Hospital, Canadian Heart & Stroke Fund, or charity of donors choice.
