Obituary of Rosa Oliveira
Peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 68 years of age. Beloved wife of Virgilio. Loving mother of Mary (Arsenio) DaSilva, Marlene (Luis) Sequeira and Mark (Tania) Oliveira. Proud Vovó of Kevin (Nicole), Kaitlyn; Matthew, Sabrina; Marcus and Lucas. Cherished Great Vovó of Leandro.
Friends will be received at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. Due to COVID – 19 restrictions only 75 guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time (no appointment is necessary). Masks and social distancing will be required.
A funeral mass will be taking place by invitation only at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Private entombment for immediate family only at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill.
In Rosa’s memory, donations may be made to Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
