SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Rosalie Doucet 71, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16,
2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in
Moncton, NB. Born in St-Ignace, she was the daughter of the late Alban
Chevarie and the late Levina (Vautour) Chevarie. Before her passing,
Rosalie was employed as a lobster plant worker.
Rosalie will be sadly missed by her husband, Adelard Doucet
of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; her two sons, Gaetan Doucet of Saint-Ignace
and Fernand Doucet of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; her two sisters, Geraldine
Daigle (late Gerard) of Montreal and Rita Chevarie of Moncton; four
brothers, Hypolite Chevarie (Anne-Marie), Bernard Chevarie, Raymond
Chevarie (late Gisele) and Paul-Emile Chevarie (Pamela) all of
Saint-Ignace and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters,
Marie-Rose and Therese Chevarie, and one brother, Jean-Guy
Chevarie.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 7:00 –
9:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 9:00 am until
departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be celebrated
Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 11:00 am,
Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, visitors will be
required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and
government issued ID at the funeral home, masks are mandatory and we
ask that social distancing is respected.
Arrangements are in the professional care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto (523-4252).
