Obituary for
Ronny Levasseur
It is profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronny on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 53 years. Beloved husband of Natalie (née Seguin) of Timmins. Dear father of Shelbie Lynn Levasseur and Erica Foley (Tom Mesich) and stepfather of Michelle Lauzon and Déric Lauzon (Cassandra Chartrand). Cherished grandfather of Enzley and Darius Levasseur. Left to mourn is his mother Pauline Lessard and his siblings Suzanne (Don) Potvin, Aurelie Sabourin (Dave Romanowski) and Julie (Joel) Brunet. He also leaves his mother-in-law Gisèle Seguin (Late Germain) and his brothers and sister-in-law Raymond (Ruth) Seguin, Gilles (Bernie) Seguin, Suzanne (Claude) Fortin and late Joanne Seguin. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, and his many cousins, including Kathy Laporte, whose friendship meant a great deal to him and his very special friends Ross & Diane Roy. Predeceased by his father Gaston Levasseur (2008) and his stepfather Aurèle Lessard (2007).
Ronny was a proud man who enjoyed music. He was well known as Rockin’ Ronny. He owned his own DJ business for many years. He excelled and loved playing the guitar for his family and friends, especially with the Grand Babies.
In his memory, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 1pm to 3:30 pm at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (mask wearing and social distancing will be required along with the maximum number of attendees allowed in the visitation parlour). The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Joseph Parish at 4pm. (Fr. Simon officiating). The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
