STEWART, RONALD SCOTT
Ronald Scott Stewart, 67 of Fredericton , NB , passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 3:15am at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Ronald (Ronnie) was born in Fredericton, son of Fred Stewart and the late Mary Stewart. He is survived by his daughter, Keara Leblanc (Stewart) and his son, Scott Stewart as well as his partner, Sherry Grant of Fredericton , NB , and his former partner, Dawn Marie Stewart (Smith). Ronald has three brothers, Richard Stewart (and Sherry) of Penniac , NB , James (Jimmy) Stewart of Mill Cove Nursing Home and Alan Stewart (and Linda) of Saint John , NB. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as his grandson, Jonah.
Ronald worked at 6 Color Copy on the Hanwell Road , Fredericton NB for 22 years. Ronald completed high school at Fredericton High School . As the game of ball was Ronald’s passion he dedicated his time after graduation to coaching women’s softball and later coached his son Scott through baseball and softball. When there was no baseball to be watched, he could be heard talking about, or cheering on, the Dallas Cowboys, the Atlanta Braves, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Ronald will be dearly missed as he was a dedicated father and a loving uncle.
Proof of Vaccinations and Gov’t ID is required at all public events. A Visitation will take on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive Fredericton, NB. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11 am. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundations.
