Obituary of Ronald Roy Carncross
It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Ronald Roy Carncross on October 2, 2021. He passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Ron was born October 12, 1943 to parents Ethel and
Roy Carncross who both predeceased him in 1994. He is survived by his wife Laurie, daughter Sarah (Matt), son Jonathan (Rupi), sister Valerie (Don) and sister Shirley (John). Loving nieces and nephews Kathy (Rob), Steve (Ashley), Cristy (Jeff), Michael (Julie) and families. Ron was a wonderful man, husband, father, brother and friend. Ron cherished his lifelong childhood friends and continued to make valued friendships throughout his life. Ron would do anything to help family and friends, you could always count on Ron.
Ron worked the majority of his career inthe communications industry and was instrumental in setting up the Telus Mobility dealer network that exists today. He was respected in his field and made lasting friendships with many of his coworkers and business associates. He was a man of integrity who strove to be the best at all he did and encouraged others to do the same. He enjoyed playing golf and baseball well into his sixties and keenly watched football and hockey with his eye on the pools that he managed with meticulous detail.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date
