Ron passed away with the love of his life, Mary and his 3 sons by his side on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Ron will be missed by all that knew and loved him, his laughter and his many practical jokes. Loving husband of Mary, loving father of Dewayne (predeceased) (Nita), Michael (Kelly), Little Ronnie (Cindy) and Tim (Bonnie). Loving papa of Shandon (Sara), Chass (Anna), Keelan (Josh), Austin (Raven), Chavis (Brittany), Trey (Anna), Kennedy (Nathan), Ryan, Kooper, Frankie-Lin and Quinn. Dearly missed brother to Glen (Donna), Eileen (Mervin), Don, Dan and Charlie. Loving step-papa to Nicky (Scott) and Mary. And loving great-grandpa to Sawyer, Adalynn, Stefan, Alisawe, Dominique, Belle, Mya and Jacob. Loving Great-Great Grandpa to Leila. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, adopted children, friends and fur babies. Family and friends will be received at Christ Church, 52 South Church Lane, TMT on Thursday, March 18, 2021 between the hours of 4:00- 7:00 and on Friday, March 19, 2021 between the hours of 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. In keeping with Ron`s wishes cremation will take place following the services.
Due to COVID restrictions we are asking all attendees to RSVP directly to the funeral home by phone 613-396-2310 or email mjsmithandson@cogeco.net to let us know you will be in to see the family for the visitation as this will help us collect names and phones numbers for everyone entering Christ Church. Mandatory COVID 19 protocols will be in effect, including physical distancing outside and inside Christ Church and face masks are required at all times.
