Ronald Elie Marcov – Beloved husband of Jennifer (Morris), passed away at home with his loving wife and best friend of 35 years at his side. Predeceased by his father Nick, Ron is survived by his mother Daisy, daughter Niki, and his sisters Shirley Smith (David) and Sandra Cockerill (Ken). A special Dede to his six grandchildren, Ben (Samantha), Anna Pearl (Trey), Jesse, Adison, Georgia and Mackenzie, he will also be missed by his stepdaughters Kerri MacDonald (Matt), Kimberley Bridge (Chris), and his niece Kasmira (Tarn), nephew Alex Cockerill and great niece Wren Breedveld.
Ron proudly operated Count Draculas’ Paint and Paper in Belleville for over 30 years, where customers became friends and friends were like family. Throughout his life, Ron spent some of his most cherished days, with a fishing pole in hand, on the waters of Rice Lake with his Dad or on the shores of the Bay of Quinte and the Moira River with his grandchildren.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Brittany Dyer, who’s care, and attention allowed Ron to end his lengthy battle with cancer, at home with dignity and compassion. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will gather at a later date, for a private family service.
