Obituary of Ron Hulme
RONALD (RON) VINCENT HULME
October 18, 1933 – September 13, 2021
Ron passed away peacefully at home in his 88th year. He will be missed deeply by his wife Marguerite of 67 years. Beloved father to Heather (David), Hal (Michele), Herb (Lynne), Howie (Melody), Holly (Larry), Hope (Curtis) and grandchildren Kerri, Brent (Claire), Kyle (Rachel), Kourtney, Nick, Lauren, Carly (Lawrence), Tyler (Rachael), Codey and great grandchildren Walker, Caden and Jordan.
Ron was very much involved with the Knights of Columbus and volunteered many years at the Salvation Army Kettle, Bingo at the Bennett Centre and very active with the men’s Senior Luncheon. Loved making hand painted decorations for all occasions and were displayed on the family front yard.
Special thanks to the caregivers at Acclaim Health for their outstanding support and dedication.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd. north of Maple Ave.) Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church (14400 Argyll Rd.) Georgetown on Friday September 17, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery following the service.
